PettiChat was born from a small team of pet-obsessed humans — each of us with our own adorable troublemakers at home.
I have a cat named Pipi. Her name pretty much means “the naughty one,” and she really is. She’s loud, always sticks to me, likes to make trouble, and somehow knows how to open doors and run out for fun.
I’ve always wanted to understand what her constant meowing actually means. That simple wish became the beginning of PettiChat — and Pipi became our very first little “tester” o(=•ェ•=)m
Now with the new generation of AI, we finally have a chance to get closer to our pets and understand them a bit more. So our team built the first real-time AI pet translator, backed by 94.6% accuracy from collecting millions of emotional sounds from cats and dogs, co-validated with deans of university veterinary colleges, and featured in 3 top-tier AI conference papers 📑. We hope it can bring something fun and useful to pet families.
We believe good AI should bring more happiness, not complexity.
